Senior portraits are the highlight of your high school career. Not only are the wallets great for trading memories, senior pictures highlight you and everything you want to be. Whether you are the artist who craves imagination, or the athlete who strives to be at the top, senior portraits are a great way to share your vision of yourself.
Location
I will shoot pictures on location in Warrensburg, Missouri, around parks, downtown, or in the the University campus area. Contact me with questions about shooting in other areas. The best time to do outdoor shots is during the early morning or evening, when the sun isn’t as high in the sky. This means less contrasty pictures and better color. However, if that is your preferred timing, it can be done. In cases of inclement weather, on location bookings can be rescheduled at no extra costs. But don’t discount cloudy days– the soft light can be very flattering.
Studio shoots will be taken with my equipment in a rented room at the University of Central Missouri’s Elliot Union when possible.
Suggestions For A Great Shoot
At my sittings, you can bring however many outfits you want as time allows for. Better yet, bring your favorite jewelry, accessories, and anything that defines you. Props could include trophies and sports equipment, to your favorite books or personal collections. My job as your photographer is to capture you in the photograph. Friendly pets are fine where permitted on location. Don’t forget to bring a brush or comb and makeup for quick touchups before and during the shoot. No need to make it heavy- a lighter, natural look often goes a long way in making you look great.
