In order to try and improve my grade, I’ve reshot the window light portraits for my portrait class

These are a few of the pictures I shot of Joe for my High Key assignment in UCM’s Portrait ’09 class.
Earlier this week I shot pictures of Liz for my portrait ’09 Ratio assignment, and these are some of the ones I edited. You can see the rest on Flickr:
For my One Light assignment in Portrait Photography I asked my friend Kel to be my model (along with Isaac, who modeled for Megan this time around). We had fun playing with costumes, backdrops, and different lighting. Here you can see Kel.

This was our next assignment in the Portrait Photography class. Since I needed someone to help hold the reflector (a car window reflector) and the subtractor (a black foam board), both of which I had just bought at Walmarts, I gathered a group of my friends to go do a photoshoot. We went downtown and to one of the nearby parks, and enjoyed the pirate costume shoot near the stone steps.
These are pictures I took for the window lighting assignment in my portrait photography class. I took these while at home on Labor Day Weekend, most editing done in Lightroom.
These are images we shot in class, both window light and subtractive light. Today we reviewed how to use Lightroom, and voila! It’s time to use WordPress. This also happens to be my first post on this blog.
Anyways, here are the images for today:
