Today in class, Professor Schmidt took the class outside around campus with two Q-Flashes (one for a soft fill, and one as a hairlight) and a bunch of pocket wizards (so a lot of flashes ensued). Pictures were taken in various areas and students were swapped out as models. The main problem was getting the flash to show up in the pictures. Raise the flash, less recycles and more chances of missing the shot with so many people shooting.

Editorial Assignment 5 – Fashion/Portrait
These are pictures of my fiance that I took for my editorial class. The idea is fashion, particularly of more formal wear. No flashes, but an occasional reflector was used. Retouching was done in Photoshop.

Editorial Assignment 4 – Travel
During Spring Break, my boyfriend and I traveled down to the Dallas, Texas area to visit my cousin and take her family pictures. While there, we went to downtown Dallas, as well as few other places, to take pictures. These are some of the results, edited for my Editorial class assignment. None of these have Photoshop retouching; all post processing was done in Lightroom 2.0. The restaurant shown is Sambucca.
