These are more photo manipulations I did to practice creative photography and texturing with Adobe Photoshop CS4.

These are jewelery photos I took for my friend Kell. She was needing photos for her Etsy site, as she crafts together the beads to make jewelery. Due to the editorial nature, I planned to use them for my last Editorial Assignment. I used a make-shift "EZ-Cube" made from toilet paper rolls and waxed paper with two Alienbee lights set up on either side. In some of the photos a Lowel movie light is involved, and in other, light was shined into the box with the jewelery sat on top. My fiance helped come up with background ideas and the sets for the elemental backgrounds and the candy background. Most post-processing was done in Lightroom 2.0 and Adobe Photoshop CS4.

These are pictures of my fiance that I took for my editorial class. The idea is fashion, particularly of more formal wear. No flashes, but an occasional reflector was used. Retouching was done in Photoshop.

For my creative photography assignment 5, I took photos from my Texas Trip and used Photoshop to duplicate and flip half of the picture to create the reflection. I made a picture out of each side, thus creating a paired picture.

These are some of the family pictures I took for my cousin during Spring Break. I thought I’d post a few of them for her on Flickr to see while I’m still in the process of editing them.

Last class period, Professor Jerry Schmidt baked bread and brought food to make sandwiches and salads for an in-class food shoot. The plan was to shoot tethered to the computer and work as a team. So the class seperated into four groups and worked together to create a delicious-looking pictures of food. These are pictures that our group took, taking turns while the other members enjoyed fresh bread dipped in olive oil. I’m not sure which ones I took and which ones the other members of my group took, but I thought I’d post several in case someone wasn’t able to get access to the photos. I did some post-processing to the photos in Adobe Lightroom 2.0.

During Spring Break, my boyfriend and I traveled down to the Dallas, Texas area to visit my cousin and take her family pictures. While there, we went to downtown Dallas, as well as few other places, to take pictures. These are some of the results, edited for my Editorial class assignment. None of these have Photoshop retouching; all post processing was done in Lightroom 2.0. The restaurant shown is Sambucca.

These are pictures for my creative photography assignement 3. Here I wanted to play more with textures and photomanipulation/photo montage. All the pictures are ones I have taken. Animal pictures came from photos I took last summer at the Wichita Zoo. Several other photos had thier roots in the Texas Trip I took over Spring Break.
